I have owned several pairs of this shoe over the last 6 years. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned, and you really can walk all day in them.

I love ballet flats but have trouble finding some that will stay on my feet and not cut off my circulation. These Mary Janes resemble a ballet flat with their narrow strap higher on the instep than most; under a pair of pants, the strap is invisible. They have the famous Walking Cradles cushioned footbed, and the strap is nicely adjustable. I bought a pair a half size larger to accommodate an insole. Love the neutral pewter color, a nice alternative to blacks and tans.

These shoes are very soft and comfy. There was no breaking-in period required. They don't provide a lot of arch support but do have nice soft rubber soles and a comfortable insole. The strap of the Mary Jane style keeps my narrow heel from slipping.

I'm a shoe addict and much to my dismay last year developed issues that required me to wear custom orthotics. There was no way I was wearing ugly shoes, or athletic shoes all the time, so the search was on for a shoe that looked cute but would allow enough room for the inserts. I bought this shoe in brown last fall, and now have it in pewter and black. I only gave it 4 stars for comfort because I'd love a little more cushioning, but I do realize that would make it look thicker, and less attractive. The long strip of velcro on the strap stays fastened and makes it extra secure, but adjustable for a high arch. I love, love, love that it looks great and my feet no longer hurt!
