MERRELL Women's Tetra Catch Waterproof
Handsome, comfortable boots
Perfect for a rainy day with lots of walking & working long hours. Won't wear them when the temperature is over 50 degrees - they're very warm.

Love these boots!
I really do. They are so comfortable. I got compliments as soon as I wore them out. I'm thrilled to have found a waterproof boot that is as stylish as these. They look better than the picture in my opinion. My only issue is that they feel a bit large. But this is because I have a narrow foot that's always cold. This is alright with me as it allows for a thicker sock. Something I prefer in the winter anyhow. This is my second pair of Merrell's - worth the price!

I like the fact that these boots can be worn outside in all types of weather, and can be worn all day at work with dress slacks. They are comfortable and stylish and look nice with all of my pants!

Perfect fit in rugged, but stylish boot.
These boots fit perfectly from day one, with very little break-in time. The leather is soft and moves easily around the ankle, and the color (dark brown) has a really subtle brindle-like pattern that gives the boot an expensive, non-plastic look. This is my second pair of shoes from Merrell and I find that they are consistently good-quality, with a snug but flexible fit that only gets better with wear. I have a high arch, but the boot comes on with only a little extra oomph, no straining. Haven't tried super thick socks yet, but thin and medium-weight socks have been fine. The boot soles are pretty grippy and so far have given me adequate traction on snow and ice -- I probably wouldn't run across an icy parking lot in them, but I don't dare do that anyways. The only negative I can think of is that the finger loop on the back is pretty long so that, if you have short-pant syndrome (at 5'10", I often do), the loops tend to catch your pant legs when you get up from sitting. It can be annoying to have to fix your pant legs all the time, but I'd say the boots are still worth the effort (and proof that I need to go shopping for pants!).
