"I'm a male nurse and just replaced my gym shoes for these. I have only wore these for about 2 weeks now and my feet are still adjusting. There are a few sore spots on my feet, but hopefully as I wear them longer, they become more comfortable. They take a little adjusting to walk in, so the verdict is still out. My feet do seem to be a little less sore after a long shift though."

"I've been working in the restaurant business for a while now. I started with Dansko. They were great but when It came to buying new work shoes I decided to save some money and buy something different. I tried Sketcher, Merrell, & Clarks. The Sketchers didn't last very long. Merrells were to wide for my foot, and the Clarks I bought were to flat. They felt like slippers. I finally decided to go back to Dansko and they are Great. I have a narrow foot and they fit perfect. It's worth spending the money on quality because they last a while. These only took me a week to break in. I also have a pair of more casual Dansko and they are going on 8 years. I will have Danko's for the rest of my life!"

Is the Dansko men's professional black cabrio the same as the Dansko men's professional black box leather? are all Danskos slip resistant?

The Box Leather is best suited for the workplace because the finish is smooth and easy to maintain in environments with wet, greasy or acidic conditions. The Cabrio Leather has a black top coat that makes them look dressier thanks to the high-gloss shine. The Cabrio is best for casual wear, not work conditions. Most, but not all, Danskos feature slip-resistant outsoles.
