"I bought a pair of these boot in 2004. I pretty much live in these boots and they're still going strong and are as comfortable as ever. I picked another pair on sale since the soles are starting to wear out and detach from the rest of the boot. You'll definitely get your money's worth on these!"

"Let me start off my clarifying my 3 stars in comfort: when you initially put on these boots they are very stiff and it takes a couple day of wearing them to be broken in, that being said, once they ar broken in they are pretty comfortable for a boot with, and after breaking them in I have had no major issues.
The quality of these boots is great, good stitching, solid sole, steel toe, the kind of boot you would expect to pay $175 for, yet shoes.com has sold these for under $100 with free shipping, it's pretty incredible, when you think about it.
The style is what initially attracted me to these boots, I'm constantly surprised by how often boot makers miss the mark on style, if more companies followed the mottos of "less is more" or " keep it simple" I would have a much wider selection of boots to choose from. It's sup rising how hard it is to find a solid black boot with a simple sole with out a bunch of weird straps and gizmos on it. These boots are very versatile, wear them to the shop, when your out shoveling snow or just the the store with a pair of jeans. When it comes to boots, simple really is best, and cat has really hit the mark this time."

Cons: long break in period

"These shoes rock! I bought a pair for my husband his 2nd pair and a pair myself. If you are a woman and would like a sturdy, comfortable, steel toe man's shoe, this is the pair for you - you will need two to two and half sizes smaller in men's shoes than your women's size. They are strong, high quality work boots. I hope they don't stop making these particular ones."
