"Not a bad looking sandal; however the straps near the front of the shoe were wider on one than the other. The fit was great on one foot and really wide on the other. You could even eyeball it visually, it was so extreme. Too bad; the style was nice and it looked like it would be a comfortable sandal."

"The red color and comfort of these sandals is great, but it's important to note that the material is pretty cheap (not leather and looks kind of plastic-y) and there is a fine line between stylish/vintage-y and grandma when you're wearing these."

"I purchased these as a replacement to the same pair that I had for approximately 10 years. They finally fell apart last summer and I wanted to get the same style and was delighted to see they are still made by Bass. I also ordered them in white but I received the wrong color & size and had to return. I'll order them in white again at a later date."

A size 8 is a Euro 39. The Bass Margie is sized according to U.S. sizes, so you'll be fine ordering your true U.S. size.

explanation of the widths

I think I read somewhere that in this shoe (Bass) the n is the wide width and the w is the narrow width. Is this correct? Also what letter is the medium width? Thanks.
