"These are the second pair for my six year old son, he outgrew his first pair. Incredibly comfortable and they look just like "Grandpa's workboot". They are comfortable but allow the foot to breathe."

"Bought these for my daughter who is now in women's sizes (actually it is our second pair!). These were unisex enough for her to wear. The price is great for a pair of hiking boots that your child will grow out of before they are done growing! They've held up great."

steel toes

i would like to know if the buster brown avalanche boot comes available with steel toe and if the buster brown is water proof and would be a good boot for snowy weather i dont like most of the snow boots at all i really like the work boots better i have small feet im a 41 year old and i would like to know if the bust brown came in a steel toe or if you had any kind of work boot like the buster brown that comes with steel toe or is a availble the boots could be black or brown or dark brown please let me know thank you thunder66

The Avalanche is not waterproof and does not have a steel toe. Presently we carry steel toe styles only in the men's and women's sections. You can search by size using the navigation on the left side of your screen.
