"I'm a trim, fit 60 yr. old who needs lots of cushion and arch support when on my feet for long periods, whether running errands or touring European cities. I like a shoe in a neutral color such as brown or gray that's dressier than a sneaker. This shoe is not dressy, and it's slightly frumpy, which is why I marked it down for style, but it meets my other criteria. I have yet to find a dressier shoe that provides the same cushion and support. My only other criticism is that the tongue is not finished off smoothly inside the shoe, a potential problem with thin socks or stockings."

Pros: Lightweight, Good traction, Cushioning, Shock absorbing, Durable, Breathable

Cons: apppearance, rough finish inside

"These shoes were recommeded to me by a friend when I asked if she had comfortable waterproof shoes. So far, I would agree that they are comfortable and waterproof - and they have been tested in lots of wet weather. If I have one complaint, it's the shoelaces. They are nylon and so slippery that even tied in double knots, they can come undone. So far it hasn't been a problem but in the spring when hiking season starts, I would be concerned about them coming undone and then tripping and falling since I don't spend a lot of time checking my laces on a hike! I'll probably just replace the laces before then."
