Great Shoe
Been wearing this style for 45 years love my Stacey Adams

Nice but not great
This is a long and skinny shoe. The leather is VERY thin and I question its long term durability. The leather is also quite shiny, more so than the picture depicts. The laces are the cheapest laces I have ever seen on a dress shoe, they belong on $20.00 shoes. The soles are smooth and the shoe slips when walking on carpets or wet, hard surfaces. On the plus side they are a comfortable shoe and I will keep them but I doubt I will ever buy them again.

Do not fit well.
Tried them on and noticed they were too long and too narrow, althought they felt pretty comfortable. I wore them to work the next day and by the end of the day my right foot hurt. I'm going to stretch them and hopefully make them usable. I ordered a 13w but I think they are really a 14m. I should have returned them immediately but because the were so soft I was suckered in.

VERY comfortable immediately
There is a note with the shoes that promises they will feel broken in after only 250 steps. I didn't think much of it until I realized that they felt like a comfortable, broken-in pair of shoes after just 20 steps. I was very surprised.
I also like the overall look of the shoe. The style is similar to the pair I replaced, except for the lighter and more visible stitching around the top of the sole. I wasn't sure if I'd like this feature in person, but it adds a subtle flair; it pulls ones eyes in but doesn't stand out.
I'll likely wear them 3 to five times a week so if they happen to hold up well I definitely plan to buy the same pair again and perhaps in brown as well.
Also, I have to give very high marks to Shoes.com. This is the second pair of shoes I purchased at Shoes.com and I've received excellent service both times. It's the only reason I decided to fill out this review - the company and their staff deserve the follow-up compliment.
