These boots were exactly as described and an excellent fit (medium width foot). They were ready to go right out of the box with no breaking-in period needed. One small complaint is that the tongue presses uncomfortably against the ankle if cinched up tight. Minor adjustments to positioning of the tongue while lacing-up alleviates this discomfort. I wear these for 12 - 16 hours a time and feel great!

This was my 4th pair of these hiking boots. I love em they last about a year under everyday use. They are warm and comfortable and the price is reasonable.
