We love these shoes for our older kids. Sadly, we tried the toddler version this summer but they don't work on those pudgy feet. But for our 5 and 6.5 year olds, we buy a new pair for each of them every summer. They like to put them on, which tells me the shoes are comfortable, and I love that the closed front protects toes. They go in and out of water and mud, and are secure enough for the kids to run around in while still being a sandal (they don't replace tennies for a solid activity shoe though). When they get too dirty, they go through a cool wash cycle just fabulously. Do not wash them on hot or leave them in the sun, though, or they will shrink significantly! Remember shrinky-dinks? That's what they do. We will keep purchasing these for years to come.
