The color is pretty neutral and goes with everything. Great for everyday and going to school. He does not have to chang his shoes for PE class. After several months of every day wear they do get worn out but worth it while they last.

I usually buy DC shoes for my boys because they like the style and the shoes hold up well. I bought this pair for my son that just turned 5 because I want to teach him how to tie his shoes. Almost all of the shoes I have purchased for him in the past have been velcro or elastic lace that he just slips on. I bought them a half size bigger than what he wears now so that he has some growing room.
