My son isn't allowed to have shoelaces in his sneakers so I buy these sneakers for him every school year. He's very athletic and these are really comfortable for him.

Our daughter with disabilities wants to dress herself but can't lace and tie. Velcro closures are hard to find, but these are reasonably priced and fit her orthotic well.

Stitching is bad.

Stitching is bad. One strap broke within a week. Got it fixed at a shoe repair shop, and in a couple of months the stitching at the toe is coming apart. The rest of the shoe still looks new as in the summer my son wears other shoes.

Bottom line:
NO, I would not recommend this to a friend
