- Susan: "No, they are not padded but they are very comfortable. I wore them for my daughter's wedding--in them for 9 hours without a problem."
- Alja: "There is light padding down the center from the heel to just behind the straps at the toe. The padding stops about 1" behind where the line is under the forward straps."
